Big outdoors fan, plays Baseball, Hockey, Golf, does allot of Referring for men's hockey leagues, works for Gateway Casinos , was referring a mens league hockey game when he helped save follow board member Hugh when he went into cardia arrest in the game. He used CPR and the AED to save him

A big sports fan, esp. Hockey! Works at Honda In Alliston for the last 25 years. A AED saved his live 5 years ago, while playing hockey he went into Cardiac Arrest, The Ref had to use CPR and the AED to bring hime back, the ref was Jeff Hirtzel. who is also now on the board.

-    Worked for the Provincial Government for 30 years and then took an early retirement to teach elementary school (15 yrs.)
-     Past Publicity Chairperson for the Bracebridge Figure Skating Club
and Bracebridge Blades syncho teams (and team photographer)

Providing "home base" for our 3 grandchildren
Our granddaughter, Willow, then 16, collapsed suffering a cardiac arrest
on December 13, 2024 after just arriving at the arena.  Two on-duty
Kitchener-Waterloo police officers were nearby and responded to the 911
call and performed CPR on her.  The Kitchener Rangers Jr.  mens hockey
team trainers were in the arena and grabbed the AED and together with
police officers saved her life.
I made a phone call and asked how I could help.  My focus now is to pay
it forward and help save more lives.
